WATERVILLE -- The University of Maine at Farmington men's golf team placed third today at the Colby Invitational at Waterville Country Club.

Colby White won the five-man scramble event at -14 followed by Colby Blue (-13), Farmington (-12), Maine Maritime (-7) and the University of Maine at Presque Isle (-4).

Nick Waltz (Damariscotta, Maine), Orion Cochrane (Greenville, Maine), Rich Matthews (Portland, Maine), Reid Bond (Farmington, Maine) and Joe Messerman (Brunswick, Maine.

The Beavers are scheduled to return to Waterville Sunday to compete in the Colby Classic.
