WILTON -- The University of Maine at Farmington women's golf team hosted the UMF Invitational today at Wilson Lake Country Club.

Bowdoin College won the event with a 369 with Bates College in second at 397. Farmington did not have a team score.

Bowdoin's Chelsea Gross (Medina, Minn.) earned medalist honors. Gross was the only golfer to shoot under 90 at 89. Teammate Taylor Guiffre (Scotch Plains, N.J.) and Bates' Brigid Dunn (Milford, Ohio) each fired a 92 to round out the top three.

Merissa Beaulieu (Monmouth, Maine), the lone golfer for the Beavers, turned in a 98.
