WATERBURY, Vt. -- The University of Maine at Farmington men's golf team finished fourth at the North Atlantic Conference Championships this weekend at the Country Club of Vermont.
Husson University held off Salem State University to win its sixth consecutive NAC title. The Eagles finished with a team score of 600 to the Vikings' 601. Castleton State College placed third at 635 followed by the Beavers at 663 in the seven-team event.
Orion Cochrane (Greenville, Maine) posted a two-day total of 153 (76-77) to lead the Beavers. Joe Messerman (Brunswick, Maine) turned in a 161 (80-81) followed by Jacob Roddy (Belgrade, Maine) at 171 (82-89) and Cameron Audet at 188 (100-88) to complete UMF's team score.
