FARMINGTON, Maine -- The University of Maine at Farmington men's golf team hosted the UMF Invitational Thursday at Sunday River Golf Club.
Husson University won the event with a 301 followed by University of New England (321) and St. Joseph's College (328) and University of Southern Maine (333). The Beavers and University of Maine at Presque Isle tied for fifth place at 339. Results
Orion Cochrane (Greenville, Maine) and Joe Messerman (Brunswick, Maine) each fired a 79 to lead the Beavers. Jacob Roddy (Belgrade, Maine) shot an 83 for UMF followed by Cameron Audet (Windham, Maine) at 98 and Mike Lawson (Williamsburg, Maine) at 105.
Husson's Chris Hamel and Mike Hersey each shot a 72 to lead the field.
