AUGUSTA, Maine - University of Maine at Farmington golf team finished in fifth place at the Mariner Invitational on Thursday. The Invitational was played at the Augusta Country Club in Augusta, Maine.

Senior Eric Aguiar and junior Matt Pelletier tied as the Beavers top scorers, carding a ten-over 80 to finish in a tie for 10th place. Sophomore Charles De Hass finished with an 84 (24th) and junior Justin Rodrigue fired an 86 to finish out the scoring for UMF.

Husson took the team award shooting a 306, followed by the University of Southern Maine (311) and Colby College (317).

UMF will play on Sunday (Oct. 7th) in the Southern Maine Fall Classic at the Gorham County Club.
