Beavers Take Second at the Thomas Invitational

Waterville, Maine - After a meet at Bowdoin College Friday, today at the Thomas Invitational the Beavers were led to a 2nd place overall finish on the Men's side by senior captain Shane Hathaway.

Hathaway started the day off by winning both the Long jump and Triple jump. Shortly after he placed second in high jump, javelin and capped his day off with a 2nd place finish in the 400 hurdles. Tallying 44 points for the Beavers. Teammates David Doering and Thomas Dupuy went on the win events later today. Dupuy won the 800 and Doering 1500. Ethan Solis came off his 400-meter win Friday with another win today in the 400-meter dash. The 4x400 (Peaslee, Solis, Boucher, and Martin) and 4x800 (Abukadir, Shorey, Dupuy, and Doering)  went on to win their relay races today.

The Beavers will be preparing for the Maine state championship meet that will take place at Bates College next Saturday.
