Saturday, Whitney LeMay finished first in women's open snowboard class during a slalom race at Lost Valley ski area in Auburn. The race was sanctioned by USASA. 

"It was two races, in race 1 I had times of 28.93 (run 1) and 29.16 (run 2) for a combined time of 58.09. Race 2 was slower due to the course becoming icy, 35.75 (run 1) and 32.56 (run 2) for a combined time of 1:08.31. It was sunny but the course was fast and became bucket proof quickly after the first runs in the first race. In race one, I had the seconded fastest combined time" said LeMay.
