Golf Team Finishes Day One of NAC Championship

WATERVILLE, Maine - UMaine-Farmington golf team stands in seventh place after day one of the North Atlantic Conference Championships, being played at the Waterville Country Club.

HOW IT HAPPENED

  • Matt Pelletier lead UMF by shooting an 80 on the day.  Pelletier shot a two-over-par 36 on the back and is in 17th place individually
  • Charles DeHaas and Justin Rodrigue carded an 83 and 85 respectively.
  • Nate Poulin rounded out the top four scorers coming in with an 88
  • Jacob Erwin (Castleton) shot a 72 and stands in first, and a trio of SUNY Delhi golfers, Daniel Christy, Brandon Palmer, and Zach Barrett are tied for second with a 73.
  • SUNY Delhi holds the team lead (295) followed by host Thomas (309) and defending champion Husson (311).

UP NEXT

UMF will compete in day two of the NAC Championship tomorrow at the Waterville Country Club.
