Plymouth, N.H. – UMaine-Farmington's men's track and field team took fourth overall in their opening meet of the season.
Yusuf Mohamed took fourth place in the 200-meter dash with Davion Jackson taking seventh place with a time of 25.61 with Ben Toribio taking 11th place overall.
Abshir Abukar took first place in the 400-meter dash with a time of 53.69 followed by Jackson with a time of 57.24. William Chinnock took ninth place while Joe Ashby took second overall in the 800-meter dash with a time of 2:10.01.
Thomas Dupuy finished in 7th place with a time of 2:25.91 as Enrico Echevarria finished in ninth place with a time of 2:41.75.
Cam Morin and Maxen Ryder each ran the mile with times under 6:30 for the Beavers while Caleb Grover ran the 5000-meter run. The Beavers took 4th place in the 4*200-meter relay as the Beavers took second place in the 4*400 relay.
Isiaah Boria had a distance of 8.63 meters in the shot put while having a distance of 6.14 meters in the weight throw.

The Beavers will be back in action next weekend at the University of Southern Maine.
