Gorham, Maine - UMaine-Farmington's men's track & field team tally four school records and 22 top-10 marks in school history at the USM Invitational on Saturday afternoon.

HOW IT HAPPENED 

• Alixx Canwell set the school record in the hammer, shot put, discus taking second place in all three events. Canwell scored 24 points on the day with marks of 33.19m, 12.10m, and 35.70m.
• Antonio Ciccomancini won the 100m in 11.46 seconds and took 3rd in the 200m with a time of 23.43. Ciccomancini scored 16 points for the Beavers. Justin Castaldo took second in the 800m with a time of 2:02.67 scoring eight points, followed by Joe Ashby, who took fourth with a time of 2:05.15 scoring four points. 
• Yussuf Adow set the school record and took fourth place in the high jump with a mark of 1.85 and also took fourth in the men's 1500m run with a time of 4:26.84. Adow totaled eight points for the Beavers.
• Luke Bliss took third place in the 5000m run with a time of 17:41.68, followed by Sam True with a time of 17:59.17. True also took second place in the 3000m steeplechase with a time of 11:26.82.
• Covy Dufort took first place in the steeplechase with a time of 10:42.11 and then took second place in the 400m hurdles to tally a total of 18 points for the Beavers. Abshire Abukar took first place in the 400m hurdles while Isiaah Boria took third place in the shot put and hammer throw scoring 12 points.
• Alex Sharan took fourth place in the hammer and totaled eight points for the Beavers.
• The men's 4*400m team of Abukar, Dufort, Ashby, and Castaldo took second place with a time of 3:39.85, scoring eight points.
