BRUNSWICK, Maine – Overnight rains left the Brunswick Country Club course unplayable, forcing the cancellation of Sunday's final round of the Bowdoin Invitational and shortening the tournament to the results of Saturday's round.
The University of Maine at Farmington golf team finished Saturday tied for 15th overall with a 345 (+57).
Ryan Sargent was UMaine-Farmington's top individual with an 83 (+11), tied for 58th on the individual leaderboard in a field of 83 golfers. Kellen True and Neil Larochelle III each carded an 85 (+13), while Jack Burton fired a 92 (+20). Dan Mickiewicz shot a 93 (+21) to round out the UMaine-Farmington entries in the tournament.
UMaine-Farmington golf will return to the links on Wednesday, Sept. 29, when they compete in the Maine Maritime Mariner Invitational at the Augusta Country Club in Manchester, Maine.
