WATERVILLE, Maine – University of Maine at Farmington newcomer Neil Larochelle III fired an eight-over 78 to lead the Beavers in a dual match with Thomas College, Saturday afternoon at the Waterville Country Club.

Larochelle tied with Thomas' Dylan Cunningham atop the individual leaderboard.

Farmington native Kellen True and first year Ryan Sargent each carded an 86 over 18 holes on the par 70 Waterville course, while first years Chris Frey and Daniel Mickiewicz each shot a 90.

UMaine-Farmington finished the round with a team score of 340, and trailed Thomas (326) by 14 strokes.

The Beavers return to the course on Saturday, Sept. 18, when they compete in the Thomas College Invitational at the Waterville Country Club.
