FRANKLIN, Mass. - On Sunday afternoon the University of Maine at Farmington took down Dean College 1-0 to earn their first win of the season and the first of Interim Head Coach Hattie Huston's career.
The Beavers took the field on Sunday for the first time in two weeks after a pair of postponements. The Beavers were granted a penalty stroke with 33 seconds left in the first half. Senior defender Mya Daniels (Limington, Maine) converted the stroke to give the Beavers the lead and the only goal they would need in the shutout.

Alicia Bridges (Livermore Falls, Maine) had to make one save in recording the shutout. For the Bulldogs Mackenzie Fillion (New Bedford, Mass.) would make six saves in the losing effort.
The Beavers would hold a 12-4 advantage in shots, 7-1 in shots on goals, and 7-3 in penalty corners.
The Beavers improve to 1-4 on the season while the Bulldogs drop to 0-7.
