FARMINGTON, Maine - Nine different University of Maine at Farmington men's soccer players scored to help push the Beavers to an 11-0 victory over Vermont State University Lyndon on senior day Saturday afternoon at Leib Field.

Prior to kick-off the University of Maine at Farmington men's soccer team celebrated the careers of 11 seniors who will be graduating in the spring. Christian Beliveau (Auburn, Maine), Cade McHugh (Little Compton, R.I.), William Dowse (Sherborn, Mass.), Trevor Krueger (Sandwich, Mass.), Aric Belanger (Manchester, Maine), Logan Curtis (Thorndike, Maine), Brady Stockwell (Manchester, Maine), Garrett Whitten (Readfield, Maine), Eric McCallum (Saco, Maine), Coleman Watson (Readfield, Maine), and Josh Vincitorio (Pomeraug, R.I) were all recognized before the game.

With 11 seniors, the Beavers were able to start all 11 and got the game started in a hurry as they were able to score three goals in the opening 6:09 of gametime. Beliveau, McCallum, and McHugh each tallied goals to help the Beavers open up a quick 3-0 lead. Beliveau was able to redirect a cross from Stockwell for the games opening goal in the 3rd minute. McCallum headed in a McHugh cross a minute later for his 1st goal of the season. McHugh then found the net two and a half minutes later, roofing a one-time shot off a feed from Belanger.

Watson and Dowse kept things rolling for the Beavers, being the 4th and 5th seniors to score in the game. Watson scored in the 16th minute when he redirected a rocket off the foot of McCallum. Dowse headed home an in-swinging corner kick from McCallum to give the Beavers a 5-0 lead.

William LaVigne (Scarborough, Maine) scored a pair of goals four minutes apart in the 25th and 29th minutes to keep things going offensively for the Beavers. Vincitorio scored off a free kick with four seconds to play in the opening half to make it an 8-0 game.

To open up the 2nd half, Mohamed Adow (Auburn, Maine) scored a pair of goals just eight minutes apart to extend the Beavers lead. Rafael Harron (Belmont, Calif.) tacked on a goal in the 66th minute.

The game got called in the 74th minute due to poor field conditions.
