NEWRY, Maine - Sophomore snowboarder Caelan Billings won the gold medal on Sunday in a USCSA boardercross event at Sunday River. 

A day after taking gold at the ECSC Regional Championships in Londonderry, Vermont, Billings continued his strong weekend with a 1st place finish at the boardercross event on Sunday. Billings finished the course with a time of 63.11 seconds, to beat out the silver medalist by over seven seconds.

Billings and the Beavers return to action at another USCSA boardercross event on February 23rd.
