COLORADO SPRINGS, Colorado - The University of Maine at Farmington field hockey program and its student-athletes have been honored by the National Field Hockey Coaches Association (NFHCA) for their performance in the classroom following the 2025 Fall Semester.
Eleven field hockey student-athletes were named to the NFHCA 2025 Division III National Academic Squad, which "honors undergraduate student-athletes who have achieved a cumulative GPA of 3.50 or higher through the fall semester." The players who received this honor include: Lindsay Boisvert (Westbrook, Maine), Bayley Casavant (Corinth, Maine), Izzy Derosby (Waterville, Maine), Emily DeSimone (Waterboro, Maine), Ella Grant (Sturbridge, Mass.), Abby Hanson (South Paris, Maine), Hailey Johnson (Augusta, Maine), Elizabeth Kendall (Guilford, Maine), Gabby Vincentsen (Bristol, Maine), Erin Winship (Portland, Maine), and Anna Zimmerman (Guilford, Maine).
These six athletes also received the honor of Collegiate National Scholars of Distinction. To earn this honor, the student-athlete must obtain a 3.9 GPA or higher through the fall semester. The players who received the honor include: Izzy Derosby, Emily DeSimone, Ella Grant, Hailey Johnson, Elizabeth Kendall, Anna Zimmerman.Â
