FARMINGTON, Maine - The University of Maine at Farmington women's alpine team completed the regular season with a second-place finish on Sunday in a Reynolds Division slalom event at Titcomb Mountain after posting 31 place points and a total team time of 5:12.63.

The Beavers were once again led on the hill by sophomore Rosie St. Cyr (Pownal, Maine), who earned the top individual spot and brought home the gold medal. St. Cyr topped the podium after narrowly beating Amelia Whittaker, who was competing unattached. She posted a combined time of 1:28.88 with run times of 44.41 seconds and 44.47 seconds, respectively.

Senior Hokulani Caroselli (Temple, Maine) placed seventh overall after showcasing phenomenal perseverance across her two runs. Caroselli finished her first run in 54.80 seconds and sat in 14th place overall before rebounding with a strong second run of 47.05 seconds en route to a total time of 1:41.85.

With St. Cyr and Caroselli as the only two Beaver skiers competing, the team was forced to use a ghost time in the third scoring position to record a team result. Sunday's ghost time was 2:01.90.

Saint Joseph's College of Maine claimed first place as a team, with its top three finishers combining for a total time of 4:47.07.

With Sunday's race signaling the end of the regular season, the Reynolds Division crowned its Ricker Cup Champions, awarded to the top combined men's and women's alpine program of the season. Saint Joseph's College claimed the Ricker Cup trophy, thanks in part to its women's team placing first in every event throughout the season.
