WATERVILLE, Maine — University of Maine at Farmington junior forward Jason Reynolds (Winslow, Maine) continues to dominate on the defensive glass, earning North Atlantic Conference (NAC) Defensive Player of the Week honors for the eighth time this season. The Beavers posted two conference wins over VTSU-Johnson and VTSU-Lyndon during the week, clinching the best record in the NAC.

In Friday's contest against VTSU-Johnson, Reynolds was unstoppable on the defensive boards, finishing with 16 defensive rebounds and 19 total rebounds. He also extended his double-double streak, scoring 16 points on 50% shooting from the field to record his 19th straight double-double.

Against VTSU-Lyndon, Reynolds grabbed 20 rebounds, including 10 on the defensive end, and added a steal. He also held Lyndon's top rebounder and third-leading scorer to just three points and no rebounds, showcasing his impact as an anchor of the Beaver defense.

Through 24 games this season, Reynolds leads the nation in total rebounds (362), offensive rebounds (116), defensive rebounds (246), rebounds per game (15.1), and double-doubles (22).
