Farmington responded immediately in the top of the fifth. Jameson Bloch (Attleboro, Mass.) led off with a single and moved to second on a sac bunt. After advancing to third on a groundout, Lewis came through with a two-out, two-strike single to left to plate Bloch and make it 5-4.
The game remained 5-4 until the seventh. Husson loaded the bases with nobody out on three straight singles. After a foul out, Lausier delivered his second two-run single of the game to make it 7-4.
Husson added three more runs in the bottom of the eighth to put the game away. Three consecutive singles once again loaded the bases with no outs.
