FARMINGTON -- Melissa St. Amand (Windsor, ME) and Jessica Timmreck (Brunswick, ME) each tallied a pair of goals to pace the University of Maine at Farmington women's soccer team in a 6-1 rout over Wheelock in North Atlantic Conference action at Prescott Field Sunday.

The Beavers remained unbeaten in the NAC at 4-0 and 6-3 overall, while the Wildcats dropped to 2-6 (1-4). UMF is scheduled to visit Maine Maritime Academy on Wednesday at 7 p.m.

St. Amand opened the scoring 54 seconds into the contest off a Chelsea Norton (Westbrook, ME) pass and Amber Murphy (Manchester, NH) punched in a pretty cross by Julie Walters (Wells, ME) for a 2-0 advantage at 3:10. St. Amand's 30-yard blast at 8:10 gave the Beavers a 3-0 advantage on their first three shot attempts and in under 10 minutes of play.

Timmreck tallied the first two goals off her collegiate career only moments apart. Timmreck booted an Amanda Byrne (Winslow, ME) feed in at 36:46 and headed a cross by Bethany Charles (New Vineyard, ME) at 37:11 for a 5-0 command at halftime.

The Wildcats got into the scoring column when Ashley Dowd (Auburn, MA) converted an Alexandra Hoy (Scarborough, ME) corner kick 4:22 into the second half. Jackie Mrazik (Mount Vernon, ME) completed to scoring at 86:00 off an assist by Ashley Tetreault (Spencer, MA).

Kerry Kowalczyk (Topsham, ME) and Ashley Holshouser (Berwick, ME) split goalkeeping duties. Holhouser made one save.

Alyce Jordan (Weymouth, MA) stopped five shots for Wheelock, which was outshot 26-5.
