Tracy Named NAC Player of the Year, Farmington Has Six on All-Conference Teams

WATERVILLE, Maine — University of Maine at Farmington senior forward Natalie Tracy (Oakland, Maine) has been named the North Atlantic Conference (NAC) Player of the Year, the conference office announced on Tuesday afternoon. In total, Farmington had six players named to the All-Conference Teams, with Tracy earning First Team honors; first-year midfielder Kyri Meak (Winslow, Maine) and senior midfielder Grace Dwyer (Manchester, Maine) named to the Second Team; and senior goalkeeper Paige Gonya (Sabattus, Maine), senior midfielder Rita Benoit (Hallowell, Maine), and junior forward Emma Dunn (Farmington, Maine) tabbed to the Third Team.

Tracy, who transferred to Farmington as a junior after spending two seasons at Central Maine Community College, had a phenomenal two-year stretch for the Beavers, capping it off with the NAC's highest individual honor. Tracy appeared in 13 games this season, missing six due to injury. In those 13 games, she was nearly unstoppable, totaling 16 goals with six multi-goal performances. She also scored at least one goal in nine of the 13 games she played. Her 16 goals tie her for seventh-most in a single season in program history. Across her two seasons in Farmington, Tracy scored 29 goals, moving her to tenth all-time in career goals.

During the regular season, Tracy appeared in 11 games and scored in nine of them, including a six-game stretch in which she tallied 11 goals. In a week where the Beavers went 2-0-1 with conference victories over Thomas College and SUNY Cobleskill before drawing with SUNY Delhi, Tracy scored seven goals, two against Thomas, three against Cobleskill, and two against Delhi. Several of these goals were difficult and extremely meaningful for Farmington's playoff positioning.

Against Thomas, Tracy scored the game-tying goal and added an insurance goal that helped the Beavers secure a critical NAC victory. In Farmington's 6-0 win over the Fighting Tigers, she recorded a hat trick with all three goals coming in the second half. Against SUNY Delhi, Tracy delivered a clutch performance once again, scoring a spectacular equalizer in the final three minutes, a driven shot to the upper corner that forced a 2-2 draw. For her efforts, Tracy was named the TopDrawerSoccer Division III Player of the Week and was also recognized twice during the year as the NAC Player of the Week. Her Player of the Year award caps off a phenomenal career in style.

Meak made an immediate impact during her rookie season for the Beavers. Starting at center midfield from day one, she finished the season with seven goals and three assists, tying her for second on the team in goals scored. Meak delivered in big moments, recording a team-high three game-winning goals. She quickly made a name for herself in the opening week, scoring in her collegiate debut against the University of Maine at Augusta before adding the game-winner against New England College later in the week. She earned NAC Rookie of the Week honors twice during the season.

Meak posted a dominant three-game stretch against VTSU Lyndon, the University of Maine at Presque Isle, and Thomas College, tallying four goals and two assists to help the Beavers open NAC play with three straight wins. In Farmington's final home game of the season, she scored the game-winner in a 2-1 victory over Salem State.

For the fourth straight season, Dwyer earned a spot on the NAC Second Team All-Conference. After being named to the Second Team as a center back each of her previous three seasons, she received the honor this year as a midfielder. Dwyer began the season in her usual center back role before transitioning to defensive center midfield, where she continued to provide consistency. The position change allowed her to contribute more offensively while still anchoring the defense.

Dwyer finished the season with seven goals, tying her with Meak for second on the team, and three assists. She was lethal on set pieces, scoring on three direct kicks and bending in a goal directly from a corner kick. In addition to her set-piece prowess, Dwyer dominated in the air, routinely winning balls off goal kicks, punts, and opposing free kicks. She was also named to the NAC All-Tournament Team after scoring the game-tying goal against VTSU Johnson in the NAC Quarterfinals.

Benoit had an excellent season and earned her first All-Conference honor by being named to the Third Team. She finished with five goals and a team-high six assists. After spending her first two seasons as a center midfielder, Benoit transitioned to a wing role at times this year.

She opened the season red-hot, scoring all five of her goals within the first five games. She tallied a goal and two assists in the season opener against UMA, then added a goal and an assist against NEC later that week. In Farmington's NAC opener against Lyndon, Benoit recorded a hat trick and an assist in a 10-0 win. She also delivered two assists in a 6-0 victory over Cobleskill. Like Dwyer, Benoit played an important role on set pieces.

Dunn also benefited from a positional change, moving from outside back, where she played her first two seasons, to a wing position in 2025. The move paid off, as Dunn provided toughness, grit, and quickness in the attack, finishing with five goals and one assist and earning Third Team All-Conference honors—the first of her career. Her relentless motor created numerous scoring opportunities that didn't always appear in the box score.

Dunn recorded a pair of two-goal games during conference play, scoring twice in wins over Presque Isle and Cobleskill—games the Beavers won by a combined 13-0. She also opened the season with a goal on the road against UMaine–Augusta.

Gonya capped off her career on a high note by earning All-Conference recognition for the second straight season. Last year, she earned First Team honors, and she arguably had an even better season in 2025 while collecting Third Team honors. Gonya finished the season with 113 saves, a 1.82 goals-against average, and a .774 save percentage while allowing just 33 goals in 19 games. She made double-digit saves in six games and recorded three shutouts.

Gonya posted 15 saves in a tough road loss to Wellesley, facing a career-high 38 shots. On October 8th against the University of Southern Maine, she set a new career high with 16 saves. In the NAC Semifinals against Lesley, Gonya gave Farmington a chance to win by stopping 15 shots, though the Beavers fell 4–0 to the eventual conference champions. Gonya finished her career with a 26-32-9 record, a 2.29 goals-against average, 419 saves, and a .733 save percentage. Her 419 saves rank second in program history.

Senior Hannah Wilbur (Farmington, Maine) was named to the NAC All-Tournament Team, and fellow senior Kayla Lee (Farmingdale, Maine) received Sportsmanship Team honors.
