FARMINGTON -- The University of Maine at Farmington women's soccer team handed Husson University their first North Atlantic Conference loss with a 1-0 victory today at Prescott Field.

The Beavers (5-4-2) are scheduled to play the University of Maine at Fort Kent tomorrow at 1 p.m.

Katie Cray (Richmond, ME) scored the matches only goal in  69th minute  with an assist from Kayla Tuttle (Waterville, ME) giving the Beavers a 1-0 lead.

UMF Goalkeeper McKell Barnes (Durham, ME)  recorded seven saves to preserve a clean sheet for the Beavers, while Rozlyn Peterson (Newport, ME) stopped three shots for the Eagle.
