Box Score FARMINGTON, Maine -- Courtney Chadburn (North Clarendon, Vt.) and Kelsey Lenney (Coxsackie, N.Y.) each recorded a goal and an assist as Castleton State College got past the University of Maine at Farmington 4-0 in North Atlantic Conference women's soccer this afternoon at Prescott Field.
The Beavers (3-6-3 overall, 2-3-1 NAC) are scheduled to host Green Mountain College Sunday at noon. The Spartans (9-4, 4-0) are tabbed to take on Thomas College in Waterville Sunday at noon.
Chadburn and Lenney each netted their goals in the opening half for a 2-0 lead for Castleton. UMF stood up to the Spartans in the second half before Hannah Corkum (Manchester, Vt.) and Kelly Tetreault (Tolland, Conn.) each scored in the final 6:26 to seal the 4-0 victory.
Chadburn's score got the visitors off to a 1-0 advantage 10:39 into the game when she converted a Brynn Campbell (North Clarendon, Vt.) feed. Chadburn set up Lenney's goal at 39:10 for the 2-0 halftime advantage.
Beth Lebel (Lewiston, Maine) and Crystal Johnson (Cornville, Maine) shared netminding duties for UMF. Lebel stopped a pair of shots over the first 65:51, while Johnson relieved Lebel to finish out the match.
Ericka Davis (Cambridge, Vt.) made four stops for Castleton.
