Box Score LEICESTER, Mass. -- Emma Morrison (Saco, Maine) scored five goals and assisted on another score as the University of Maine at Farmington blitzed Becker College 18-4 in non-conference women's lacrosse action this afternoon at Alumni Field.
The Beavers (2-1) are slated to visit Lasell College on Sunday at 1 p.m. The Hawks dropped to 0-5.
Following Morrison, Alyssa Neptune (Readfield, Maine) notched a hat trick in the win with Miranda Levesque (Sanford, Maine) and Maddi Kadnar (Belgrade, Maine) each chipping in two goals and an assist. Amie Daniels (Lewiston, Maine) provided a goal and three assists for the Beavers, who also received two goals each from Molly Carbin (Scarborough, Maine) and Marisa Hanning (Hebron, Maine).
UMF held an 8-3 lead at halftime, but tallied the first 10 goals of the second half, while holding the Hawks scoreless in the frame until there were 19 seconds left in the game.
UMF goalie Hannah Goodenow (Freeport, Maine) made three saves.
The Hawks received goals from Elizabeth Durate (Riverside, R.I.), Shannon Smith (Barre, Vt.) Samantha Jo-Dilkes (Little Falls, NJ) and Kristen Mader (Tewksbury, Mass.).
Becker goalie Karena Prescott (New Bedford, Mass.) made 10 saves on the afternoon.
