UMF Golf Sits Fifth After Round One of NAC Championship

GEORGETOWN, Mass. – The UMaine-Farmington golf team sits fifth after the first round of the North Atlantic Conference Championship hosted at the Black Swan Country Club. 

The Beavers shot a total of 362 on the day and trail Maine Maritime Academy and Castleton State by 28 strokes, who are currently tied for third.  Husson sits atop of the leaderboard with a score of 308 and a one stroke over Salem State.

Gavin Brickley shot an 83 on the afternoon, tying him for 17th place. Teammates Simon Rollins and Tom Bearor are currently tied for 24th after carding an 88. Maine Maritime's Keen Kalthoff leads the field with a 73. 

UMaine-Farmington tees off for round two at 10:30am.
