GORHAM, Maine – Gavin Brickley led the UMaine-Farmington golf team with a 28th place tie after round one of the University of Southern Maine Fall Classic.
Brickley shot an 83 on the day, putting him in a tie for 28th with Saint Joseph's Brandon Labrecque. Simon Rollins followed Brickely with an 88 on the afternoon and he sits tied for 36th after round one. Endicott's Austin Teal sits atop the field after carding a 72.
The Beavers are ninth overall as a team after shooting a 350. UMF trails Saint Joseph's by 11 strokes for eighth place. Endicott leads the field as a team with a 299.
Round two begins Monday morning at 11am.
