BANGOR, ME -- Freshman Gavin Brickley finished 11 strokes off the lead at the Maine Intercollegiate Championship in Bangor on Sunday.
Brickley finished Sunday with an 83, giving him a 20th place tie with Bates' Tom Garone. Brickley converted three birdies on Saturday and added two more on Sunday. He carded a 158 for the tournament.
Simon Rollins followed with a 163 total in the tournament and a tie for 25th. Rollins birdied on the eighth hole, his only birdies of the weekend.
The Beavers finished 10th in the tournament with a team score of 663. Husson came out on top carding a 597, topping the University of Southern Maine who finished with a 616.
UMaine-Farmington will hit the links next Saturday, September 20th at the Husson Invitational taking place at the Penobscot Valley Country Club.
