KENNEBUNKPORT, Maine – Tom Bearor lead the Beavers golf team at the University of New England Invitational on Wednesday held at the Cape Arundel Golf Club.
Bearor finished the day with an 85 and giving him a 21st place finish. Bearor improved by three strokes on the back nine with a 41 after tallying a 44 on the front nine. Nick Cartmell followed Bearor with an 89 and a 27th place finish. Saint Joseph's Mike Caron won the event with a 70.
The Beavers finished sixth as a team with a 365. Endicott took home the crown with a 292, beating the University of Southern Maine by eight strokes.
UMaine-Farmington will play at the Augusta Country Club on Thursday, October 2nd for the Mariner Invitational.
