Beavers Fall Short Against New England College

Henniker, N.H. – UMaine-Farmington dropped their first conference game of the year to New England College by a final score of 18-4 in North Atlantic Conference action.

IN THE BOX

  • Sierra Gilley scored two goals for the Beavers on five shots while notching an assist.
  • Isabella Monbouquette scored her first goal as a Beaver after taking four shots and notching one ground ball while Keilly Lynch scored a goal of her own with three ground balls.
  • Tara Bainbridge scored six goals for NEC on 14 shots and notched four assists, six ground balls, and caused two turnovers.  Alana Scott scored five goals on eight shots with one assist and two ground balls.
  • Caitlin Shanahan scored three goals and notched a ground ball.
  • Heather Boland made 14 saves on 32 shots while McKenzie Gallasso and Emma Harvey split time in net for the Pilgrims. Gallasso made six saves on seven shots while Harvey made seven saves on 10 shots.
