Kents Hill, Maine – UMaine-Farmington women's lacrosse team was edged out on Sunday afternoon by a final score of 11-9 against Wentworth in non-conference action at Kents Hill.

IN THE BOX

  • The Beavers tallied a total of 33 shots, 32 ground balls to go along with nine saves. Wentworth went took 28 shots, 22 ground balls and notched 18 saves.
  • Keilly Lynch scored five goals for the Beavers with two ground balls, four draw controls while Sierra Gilley scored two goals with two ground balls.
  • Sierra Gilley scored two goals with two ground balls and one caused turnover while Alyssa Dolley notched three assists.
  • Isabella Monbouquette scored one goal and caused two turnovers while Nicole Schofield scored one goal with five ground balls and two caused turnovers.
  • Jenna Tetreau scored four goals for the Leopards while Emily Rodgers scored three goals, notched three ground balls and forced three turnovers.
  • Brooke Paradis also scored three goals and tallied six ground balls, two draw controls, and three caused turnovers.

The Beavers will be on the road next weekend to face off against Nichols on Saturday and Becker on Sunday.
