Bangor, Maine – UMaine-Farmington's women's soccer team picked up their first conference win of the year with a 2-1 win over Husson University at Boucher Field in Bangor in North Atlantic Conference action.

BY THE NUMBERS

• UMF was outshot by the Eagles 11-5 while the Beavers made five saves on the day to Husson's one save.
• The Eagles took five corner kicks as the Beavers took two.

HOW IT HAPPENED

• McKenna Brodeur scored the Beavers first goal at the 9:43 minute with an assist to Hadlee Yescott.
• Yescott scored the second goal for the Beavers after Brodeur passed one into the box to lead Yescott into the left corner.
• Olivia Tapley-Gately scored at the 20:17-minute mark to make the score 2-1 as the Beavers held on for the victory.
