Beavers Compete Against Thomas College

Waterville, Maine – UMaine-Farmington women's track and field team competed in a non-scoring meet at Thomas College on Sunday.

HOW IT HAPPENED

  • Cara Perry took second place in the 45-meter hurdles with a time of 8.8 as Abby Minot took third place and Lydia D'Amico took fourth place.
  • Sarah Chapin took first place in the 1000-meter run with a time of 4:08.7 as Whitney Durgin took first in the 600-meter run while Perry took first in the 150-meter dash with a time of 22.9.
  • Abby Minot took first place in the triple jump with a distance of 9.07 and D'Amico took second in the high jump.
  • Steph McLean took third place in the weight throw with a personal record of 11.46-meters.
