Alexander Competes in MIT Last Chance Qualifier

CAMBRIDGE, Massachusetts - University of Maine at Farmington women's track and field first-year standout wrapped up her rookie campaign on Thursday, competing in the MIT Last Chance Qualifier.

The meet served as the last opportunity for athletes to qualify for the 2026 NCAA Division III National Championship.

Alexander placed ninth overall in the javelin. Given six throws, Alexander's best attempt was measured at 32.02 meters en route to her ninth place finish.

Senior Erica Johnson (Nobleboro, Maine) also competed in the event, doing so in the long jump. She fouled on her first attempt and then passed on her next two and did not place.
