FARMINGTON, Maine - At the conclusion of the New England Collegiate Conference (NECC) field hockey Championship game on Sunday afternoon, the conference named All-Tournament team selections and the University of Maine at Farmington's senior Mya Daniels (Limington, Maine) and freshman Erica Johnson were selected as representatives after their strong performances on Saturday against Husson.

Daniels was a steady leader for the Beavers backline throughout the season. She continually gave the Beavers everything she had and was a strong vocal leader as well as leading through example.

Johnson is a freshman who joined the team part way through the season and provided an important spark to their lineup. Johnson added speed and hard work to her midfield position, helping to increase the Beavers offensive pressure.

For the tournament, Katie Perkins (Winthrop, Maine) of Husson University was named the Most Valuable Player after she helped lead the Eagles to their second NECC title in as many seasons.
