Harvey opened his round with momentum, birdieing the par-five first hole to start the day at one-under. Despite a double bogey on the front nine, he stayed steady and carded a 40 (+4). On the back nine, Harvey added another birdie on the 16th hole while collecting four bogeys, finishing with a 39 to post a 79 overall. With that effort, Harvey became the first Beaver this season to break 80 in a round.

Sophomore Cooper Boinske (Westfield, Maine) slotted in at No. 2 for UMF. Boinske ran into trouble early, making two double bogeys and a triple bogey on the front nine for a 46 (+10). He bounced back on the back side, stringing together five straight pars before closing with back-to-back double bogeys to card a 42 (+6), finishing with an 88 (+16).

Joseph Wellman-Clouse (Mount Desert, Maine), Gage Suitter (Bath, Maine), and Jackson Forrest (Portland, Maine) finished within a single stroke of one another. Wellman-Clouse posted a 97 (+25), highlighted by three birdies across his round, while Suitter and Forrest each turned in 99s (+26), tying for 49th place. The day also marked Suitter's collegiate debut.
