Reynolds Receives D3Hoops Team of the Week Nod

FARMINGTON, Maine - University of Maine at Farmington junior Jason Reynolds (Winslow, Maine) was named to the D3Hoops.com Team of the Week the organization announced on Monday night.

In earning the honor, Reynolds became the first Farmington athlete to receive D3Hoops Team of the Week recognition since Terion Moss '23 did so in November of 2021.

Reynolds has been a driving force on the court this season for the Beavers and last week was no different, helping propel Farmington to a 3-0 record. Across the three games, Reynolds averaged 21.7 points and 17.0 rebounds per game while shooting a highly efficient 66.7% from the field and 73.3% from beyond the arc.

Reynolds delivered three standout performances but had a career day on Tuesday afternoon against VTSU Johnson. In the Beavers blowout victory over the Badgers, Reynolds shot 13-of-17 from the floor, knocked down a career-best 8-of-9 from three-point range en route to piling up a career-high 35 points in just 20 minutes of action.

Reynolds added double-doubles in Farmington's wins over VTSU Lyndon on Monday and Saturday against Maine Maritime. Against the Hornets, Reynolds tallied 15 points and a career-high 19 rebounds. Reynolds shot 6-of-11 from the floor and 3-for-4 from downtown.

Reynolds recorded his 11th straight double-double against Maine Maritime, piling up 15 points and 17 rebounds on an efficient 7-of-11 shooting.

For the season, Reynolds is averaging 16.7 points and is the nation's leading rebounder posting 13.4 a night. Reynolds has 13 double-doubles through 15 games this season, the highest mark of any DIII player in the country.
