Women’s Nordic Completes Week at USCSA Nationals with 10th Place Finish in Sprint Relay Championships

LAKE PLACID, New York - The University of Maine at Farmington women's nordic team wrapped up their week at the 2026 USCSA National Championships with a 10th-place finish in the Sprint Relay Championships on Saturday.

The event was a relay that consisted of nine legs. Farmington's three-skier team consisted of sophomore Kelsey McCrum (Greenbush, Maine), junior Cora Treiss (Berlin, N.H.), and senior Ayla Bodach-Turner (East Montpelier, Vt.). McCrum raced the first, fourth, and seventh legs, followed by Treiss running the second, fifth, and eighth legs, while Bodach-Turner served as the anchor with the third, sixth, and ninth legs.

McCrum finished her three legs in times of 5:53.3, 5:58.3, and 6:06.2, respectively. Treiss was consistent in her three legs, posting times of 5:12.0, 5:02.6, and 5:10.2, respectively. Bodach-Turner finished her three legs in 4:29.7, 4:29.3, and 4:50.1. In total, the threesome finished with a time of 47:12.0 en route to their 10th-place finish.

Overall for the week, Farmington earned sixth place, totaling 194 points.
