NEW LONDON, Connecticut – Four members of the University of Maine at Farmington men's track and field team competed on Friday evening at the Silfen Invitational, hosted by Connecticut College.
Ethan Linscott (Lakeville, Maine) turned in the top performance for the Beavers, placing seventh in the 1,500 meters with a time of 4:09.69.
Senior James Riley (Shrewsbury, Mass.) delivered a strong showing in a competitive 3,000-meter steeplechase field, finishing ninth overall in 10:35.01.
In the 10,000 meters, junior Andrew LaFlamme (Nashua, N.H.) recorded a 10th-place finish with a time of 31:52.29. Sophomore Alexander Gagnon (Goffstown, N.H.) also competed in the event, crossing the line in 33:09.34 to place 25th overall.
