FARMINGTON, Maine – Earlier this week, the Maine Collegiate Baseball & Softball Association (MCBSA) announced its major award recipients alongside the All-State First, Second, and Rookie Teams. Two standouts from the University of Maine at Farmington baseball team were recognized: junior Brady Vincent (Auburn, Maine) received Second Team honors, while first-year Lucas Harmon (Monmouth, Maine) was named to the All-Rookie Team.

Vincent, a junior transfer from Central Maine Community College, made an immediate impact in the middle of the Beavers' batting order this season. He led the team in nearly every major statistical category, posting a .378 batting average (45-for-119) with a .476 on-base percentage and a .605 slugging percentage. Vincent's 45 hits placed him second all-time for hits in a single season in program history. He also led the team with 10 doubles and five home runs. Notably, he set a new single-season program record by driving in 47 RBIs, shattering the previous record of 35 set back in 1988.

Harmon, a first-year outfielder, surged in the second half of the season after making his collegiate debut on April 11th as a pinch hitter against the University of Maine at Presque Isle. In total, he appeared in 19 games and made 14 starts, boasting a .333 batting average (17-for-51) and a .364 on-base percentage. He capped off his rookie campaign with five doubles, a triple, three home runs, 17 RBIs, and 10 runs scored. Two of his three home runs were crucial, coming during a must-win 16-14 road victory over VTSU Lyndon.

The Beavers finished their season with a 14-25 overall record, including a 10-14 mark in North Atlantic Conference (NAC) play.
