WATERVILLE -- Despite being outshot 32-6, the University of Maine at Farmington field hockey team forced overtime against Colby on Wednesday before falling 1-0 to the Mules at Bill Alfond Field.

Amy Campbell (North Andover, MA) scored with 10:38 left in overtime after slamming home a shot off a nice centering pass from Meryl Poulin (Cape Elizabeth, ME). The goal was Campbell's fifth of the season and her fourth in the past three games.

The Mules (2-5) dominated the game statistically with the aforementioned shot advantage and a 16-0 margin in penalty corners.

Kaeleigh Barker (Chichester, NH) played well in goal for the Beavers (4-3) with 22 saves.

Colby goalie Jamie Enos (South Hamilton, MA) earned her first shutout of the season with four stops.
