NASHUA, N.H. -- The University of Maine at Farmington field hockey team cruised to a 7-0 win over Rivier College in North Atlantic Conference competition this afternoon.

The Beavers (9-4, 4-1) are slated to visit Castleton State College Sunday at noon.

Kaitlyn Bullen (Farmington, Maine) scored a pair of goals in the win, while Emma Deans (Gorham, Maine) totaled a goal and two assists. Hattie Laliberte (Guilford, Maine) pitched in a goal and an assist with Kashley Weymouth (Gardiner, Maine) assisting on two scores and Lily Barry (Hermon, Maine), Jess Martin (Winthrop, Maine) and Sam Webster (Dixfield, Maine) each scoring a goal.

Farmington scored five times in the opening half, including four scores in the opening 15:38. The Beavers fired 22 shots, 16 on goal, while holding the Raiders to zero.

Felisha Taylor (Chelsea, Maine) recorded the shutout in the victory.
