WATERVILLE -- The University of Maine at Farmington baseball team fell 6-0, 4-2 in North Eastern Athletic Conference East Division action today at Thomas College at Alumni Field.
The Beavers (3-18 overall, 2-12 NEAC East) are scheduled to host Lyndon State College Thursday for a NEAC East doubleheader. First pitch is scheduled for 2 p.m.
In the opener, Eric Sucy twirled two-hit shutout as the Terriers blanked the Beavers 6-0.
Josh Nickerson singled twice, doubled and drove in three runs for Thomas with Tom Desjardins adding a single and a two-run home run.
Brian Morrison (Saco, ME) took the loss for Farmington. Morrison went five innings with a walk and a strikeout, while giving up 11 hits.
Phineas Peake (Penobscot, ME) and Kyle Shea (Bar Harbor, ME) each singled for the Beavers.
In game two, the Terriers scored three times in the fifth on a home run to take a 4-2 win.
Matt Levine (Pelham, NH) doubled twice and singled for Farmington.
Connor McNeill (Portland, ME) took the loss.
