Box Score PRESQUE ISLE, Maine -- Keli McLellan (Northfield, Vt.) netted her first collegiate goal to lead the University of Maine at Farmington women's soccer team to a 1-0 non-conference win over the University of Maine at Presque Isle this afternoon.
The Beavers (1-0-1) are scheduled to visit the University of Southern Maine Wednesday. Game time is set for 3:30 p.m. UMPI (3-1) suffered its first setback of the fall.
McLellan finished off a low cross to the back post from Kayla Tuttle (Waterville, Maine) at 52:05 for the game-winner.
Beth Lebel (Lewiston, Maine) made three saves in recording the shutout for UMF. The Beavers outshot the Owls 19-5 in the match.
Taylor Ussery came away with eight saves in the loss.
