Box Score NASHUA, N.H. -- Lily Barry (Hermon, Maine) scored three times as the University of Maine at Farmington field hockey team opened North Atlantic Conference season with a 10-0 win over Rivier College today.
The Beavers (2-1, 1-0) are scheduled to visit Bates College Thursday at 5 p.m.
Kaitlyn Bullen (Farmington, Maine) potted a pair of goals and handed out an assist for UMF, while Annie Agnew (Guilford, Maine) and Jessica Martin (Winthrop, Maine) each added a goal and an assist. Jennifer Bernhardt (Vassalboro, Maine), Sara Lane (Hiram, Maine) and Cheyenne McCarthy (Turner, Maine) each scored once in the win with Kashley Weymouth (Pittston, Maine) added an assist.
The Beavers fired off 45 shots, while holding the Raiders (2-3, 0-1)
Curran Brierley (East Hampton, N.Y.) made two saves between the pipes for UMF in the first half, while Felisha Taylor (Chelsea, Maine) stopped a pair of shots over 23:40 and Tabatha Plourde (China, Maine) did not need to make a stop in the final 11:20 in goal.
Molly Thagouras recorded 34 saves for Rivier.
