Box Score Bangor, Maine – UMaine-Farmington edged in final minutes against Husson University on Saturday afternoon by a score of 3-2 at Newman Stadium in the last game of the regular season.

The Beavers finish out the year with a 6-8 overall record and a 4-1 record in the North Atlantic Conference (NAC) while the Eagles finish with a 9-5 record and a 5-0 record in the NAC.
HOW IT HAPPENED
The Beavers got on the board first when Carly Raymond beat the keeper to the stick side to give the Beavers the early 1-0 advantage. Sadie Royer brought the Eagles back to tie the game at one just ten minutes later.
Emma Martineau broke the 1-1 tie at the 29:09-minute mark to give the Beavers a 2-1 lead at halftime.
Lauren Russell received a pass from Royer in the second half and found the back of the net to tie the game at two. Later in the half, Royer found the back of the net to give the Eagles a 3-2 victory.
