Farmington, Maine – UMaine Farmington split with New England College on Thursday afternoon in a North Atlantic Conference (NAC) double header by a score of 0-1 and 2-0 on Prescott Field.

Records

The Beavers move to 8-20 overall and 2-6 in the NAC while the Pilgrims of New England College moves to 17-17 overall and 6-4 in conference.

Game 1

Anastasia Albright started on the mound for the Beavers, throwing seven innings, giving up three hits and one earned run with two walks and four stikeouts. Debra Mazzeo threw seven innings, giving up seven hits and notched four strikeouts.

Alison Hamilton went 1-3 on senior day while Erika Whitman went 2-3 along with Kailyn Hill who also went 2-3.

Christine McNeil went 2-3 while Alexa Scribner went 1-3 with a run.

Game 2

The Beavers took game two of the double header with a 2-0 victory. Elizabeth Walker went 2-3 with two RBI's and a homerun. Alyssa Dillan went 1-3 with a run. Kailyn Hill and Amber Grady each went 1-2.

Debra Mazzeo started for the Pilgrims threw six innings, giving up six hits and two earned runs with a walk. Jessica Carroll, Gabriella Marcheschi and Brianna Castellano each tallied a hit.
