Clermont, Fla. – UMaine-Farmington dropped their last two games of their Florida trip to Smith College and Trinity (Conn.) on Thursday.

Game One (L, 5-2)

IN THE BOX

• Kiana Thompson and Kayleigh Oberg each went 2-4 while Oberg had two RBI's on a home run ball.
• Leah Stevens, Margaret Fogarty, Callie Hammer and Brianna Dugan each tallied on hit.
• Kailyn Hill started on the mound for the Beavers, going 4.2 innings while giving up five hits and four runs with three walks. Erika Whitman went an inning and a third, giving up three hits, one run with two strikeouts.
• Megan McGrath went 2-3 for Smith College with two RBI's while Eldoie Townsend went 1-4 with an RBI.
• Rowan Turner started on the mound, going all seven innings, giving up eight hits with two earned runs and three strikeouts.

Game Two (L, 4-3)

• Leah Stevens went 2-4 with an RBI while Kiana Thompson went 2-4 with two RBI's.
• Kayleigh Oberg, Margaret Fogarty, Alyssa Dillan and Kailyn Hill each tallied a hit.
• Brianna McGrath went seven strong innings, giving up nine hits, four runs with four strikeouts.
• Courtney Erickson led Trinity in hitting, going 2-3 with two RBI's and one run. Meaghan Race went 3-3 with a run and an RBI.
• Erica Merullo went 2-4 with an RBI and a run.
• Lindsay Golia threw all seven innings, giving up eight hits, three runs, one earned run with two walks and six strikeouts.

UP NEXT

The Beavers will be back north on Friday, March 23rd when they travel to Newbury College for a double-double at 3:00 PM and 5:00 PM.
