Winter Haven, Fla. – UMaine-Farmington fell to Utica on Wednesday by a final score of 9-7 in non-conference action in Winter Haven, Florida.

IN THE BOX

• Jimmy Parks and Taylor Lockhart led the Beavers in hitting with three hits each. Parks went 3-6 with two runs and an RBI while Lockhart went 3-5 with an RBI.
• Riley Chickering went 2-3 with three RBI's and two runs with two walks. Tyler Flayhan went 2-3 with an RBI and a run with two walks.
• Justin Rodrigue started on the mound for the Beavers, going two innings, giving up seven hits and five runs. Nate Goodine went 4 and third innings, giving up five hits and two earned runs.
• Patrick Fallon, Nick Gallant, and Ethan Nash each saw action on the mound.
• Ryan Palmer went 2-4 for the Pioneers with two RBI's while Christian Tiffin went 3-4 with two RBI's and a run.
• Mark Spina started on the mound, going 1.2 innings, giving up three hits and five earned runs while walking four.  Jake Cavanagh threw the next 5.2 innings, giving up 10 hits and two runs while striking out three. Justin Shabman closed things out for the Pioneers going an inning and two thirds.
