Waterville, Maine – UMaine-Farmington's softball team split a non-conference doubleheader with Colby College on Wednesday night with a 2-1 loss in game one and a 3-2 victory in game two.

Game One (L, 2-1)

• Kayleigh Oberg knocked in the Beavers lone run of the night with a double in three at-bats.
• Leah Stevens went 1-4 while Callie Hammer and Alyssa Dillan each tallied a hit.
• Kailyn Hill threw 7.2 innings, giving up five hits and one earned run with five strikeouts.
• Julia Saul went 2-4 for the Mules with an RBI while Wiley Holton went 1-3 and had the other RBI.
• Wiley Holton threw eight innings for the Mules, giving up four hits, one earned run with seven strikeouts.

Game Two (W, 3-2)

• Alyssa Dillan went 2-3 at the plate with two RBI's for the Beavers while Kailyn Hill went 2-4 with an RBI and one run.
• Kiana Thompson went 1-3 with a run while Kayleigh Oberg went 1-3 with one run.
• Brianna McGrath threw seven innings for the Beavers, giving up eight hits, two earned runs with four strikeouts.
• Carly Swartz went 2-3 for the Mules with a run while Kathleen Mason went 2-4.
• Paige Hartnett went 1-4 with an RBI while Wiley Holton came into the game as a pinch hitter and picked up a hit and an RBI.
• Julia Saul went seven innings for the Mules, giving up seven hits, three earned runs with four strikeouts.
