Beavers Battle Heavy Rain at Colby

Waterville, Maine - UMaine-Farmington fell to Colby College on Tuesday night while battling heavy rain from the remains of Hurricane Florence. 

HOW IT HAPPENED 

- Kyla Sturtevant and Emma Martineau each took a shot for the Beavers. 

- Emily Hogan scored the eventual game-winning goal on a play that started from a penalty corner by Delaney Keithley. Georgia Cassidy had a hard shot that was saved, but Hogan was in front for the rebound goal.

- Myri Skodock scored the Mules' second goal on a play that began when Kate Burkett hit a long ball into the area. UMF goalie Grace DiMarco came way out of her net, only to have the ball squirt lose to Skodock for the shot into the empty goal.

UP NEXT 

The Beavers will travel to Husson for a 1:00 PM start time.
